Comforting Minds
Qualified and experienced counsellor and ADHD specialist offering integrative therapy to children, young people and adults.
Hannah Barducci

I’m a qualified integrative counsellor and a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and Accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I have completed a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, as well as advanced ADHD practitioner, and advanced safeguarding and bereavement training.
I work in an integrative approach, whereby I will tailor the therapeutic methods to the individual needs of the person from cognitive behavioural techniques to a person centred approach. Sometimes I may use different tools to help with your self-exploration, this can include creative therapy (stone work, imagery etc) or after session tasks. As an integrative counsellor, I will tailor the therapeutic methods to your individual needs.
In addition to this, I am a trained Drawing and Talking practitioner. This is an experiential form of therapy that has benefits for children, young people and adults who have suffered trauma or have underlying emotional difficulties – you don’t need to be an artist to benefit from this form of therapy!
I have provided counselling within a secondary school, youth agencies and private counselling for a number of years. My experience has allowed me to work with a range of age groups from children, young people and adults. I also have experience working with neurodivergent individuals including ASD and ADHD.
I work within the guidelines of the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice and abide by their procedures for professional conduct. I’m registered with the ICO and am enhaced DBS checked.
If you’re unsure about talking therapy and whether it would be helpful for you, I’m happy to provide a free, pre-arranged, 20-minute no obligation phone consultation to help you decide. I believe it’s really important to find the right therapist for you.
This is an opportunity for you to get a feel for how we would be able to work together, and to ask any questions you may have about counselling or my approach. It’s also an opening for me to understand what has brought you to counselling at this point in your life and what you would like to get out of therapy. Then if you wish to work with me, we will schedule our first session.
